I cant do this mission either... it says... "The ship denies ur request to dock" the engine is blown off and i investigated the ship... any ideas? anyone?

if you are talking about the tier 2 rebel mission where you are supposed to inspect the imperial shuttle then use /dock to get the info, I'm having the exact same problem. Does anyone know what we can do to get past this???

I'm having a similar problem. I even tried Ion cannons hoping to disable it but nope. Thought about shooting the engines out. Good to see that doesn't work, either. I think :/

i think you have to disable the reactor too? just a guess you can try it if you want

I had this problem in Beta you have to inspect and then destroy the shuttles reactor and engines. The game just does not give you any information on how to disable the shuttle. It should say something like:

"You must disable the Shuttles Engines and Reactor useing the [ key to target them"

That would save a lot of confusion, I only figured it out after failing the mission about 10 times and getting enough XP to level up in 2 Tier 2 boxes! Went from 2-1-1-1 to 2-2-2-1 because of that mission if I remember.

I had the same problem with the tier 2 imperial mission where you are to disable a nym's lieutenant ship and inspect it. I found that even though I disabled the engines without targeting the engines specifically, I would not get mission complete because they would not let me board. But, if I toggled through my targets on the lieutenant's ship using the [ and ] keys, I got a system message "You have disabled the ship's engines". After I got the system message, I was able to inspect and then /board the ship.

that worked! go to waypoint, target shuttle, ] to target engines... soon as i got through shields and armor, ship disabled. Use /dock, mission complete (as long as someone else doesn't come and decide to blast the shuttle to pieces and ruin it- happened to me twice)

I had this problem too when I did the mission. I just waited for the ship to respawn and after about the 4th ship I was finally allowed to dock with the bloody thing.
