Thread: Some immersion idea now that i saw how well JTL have been made.

1- Before SWG launch they was talk about having planet not-accessibleby npccommercial shuttle,now is a good timeto do soand give mp pilot a real transportation business opportunity.

1a- MP ship pilot could have the opportunity to rent instanced ship hangar from were they meet there passenger. And other pilot could also rent it so they can see there ship on ground and fix or upgrade it directly.


2- Now that the time between shuttle arrival is reduce make it so player load in the ship in space, likewhen welaod in the yatch or any mp ship. At the same time remove the direct travel for pilot, so everybody can enjoy a little real space travel. (in my opinion one of the most important thing for immersion). Same thing for planetery shuttle, instead of having a loading screen, avatar should actual board and we have afix camera view during the flight to destination. (no laoding just a real fast higher altitude speeder).


3- What i think is missing the most in SWG is real indoor area, especially space station,where player could adventure, do business, any real incentive to be in those station. (Personally i would prefere to have space station instead of new planet, we have plenty on planetary empty space to wander around).


Of couse not even 1% of player idea comes to reallity, and there is much bug and balance to fix already in the current publish, but its fun to dream from time to time.

we should keep putting forth ideas though, cuase some of these are feasable (though may take more hardware). as insides for these places already exist in one form or another. for instance the space station where we start the game, with some changes could be used for boardable space stations, even the imp and reb stations could be done too (though these would deffinetly require more hardware on SOE's part).

also, boardable capital ships... they have a layout for the inside of the corvettes so why not make more?

as for planets that can only be accessed by players that would be really cool and would give all of us with MP ships something to do with them as it is baically insanity to try and fight with them.
