Just completed the early training missions and about to start on the real missions.

Just wondered what kind of Factions points you get from the missions.

Also wondered what kind of fp you get from going overt and taking out rebel ships ...is this wise with the basic TIE or will i die ?

Just trying to rack up FP as quick as possible...

any advice woudl be appreciated.

So far the only fp I've got is from doing the missions I've shot down rebel x-wingsn Y-wings and not got 1 single fp even when overt.

you need to go overt at a space station like rebel space station or imperial one to get fp if your in space.. tier1 gives about 1-4 fp and tier 5 gives about 40-60 fp depending on what craft you shoot..

Overtness on the ground doesn't make you declared in space, tried that yesterday. You have to go to a factional base and declare for space.

Tier 2 ships gives 2-6 FP, Tier 3 around 10 and so on. Think the most I got was 26 from a Lambda shuttle tier 3. Rebels gets the Cries of Alderaan bonus on space kills too.

I've tried overt from the stations killed countless rebel scum still not 1 fp

That's very strange. You're supposed to only go covert again when you land and you should be able to hyper anywhere and keep shooting your opposite faction for faction points. I suggest putting in a ticket to a CSR, and report in the dev threads.

The lvl of the enemy (assuming they are rebel) determines the Imperial FP you get. Tier 5 A wing in deep space is 43, Tier 5 B-wing is 58, tier 5 Gunboat is 198 (!!). You get really great faction FP working with tier 5 enemies. I cranked about about 5k in an hour. Your best bet is just go after fighters, you get a lot more faction FP because you can kill them faster, but it's alot more work than sitting behind a gunboat.
