Ok guys a little help..........as usual.....
I am currenlty a Freelance Pilot 1111 (I know nothing special), but I now having 2nd thoughts whether to become a reb pilot... not sure imps will let me be with them due to me being a reb..........could be a reb spy in the imp army.........sorry get off subject..
Reason for me picking freelance in the first place was so I could fly the YT1300, but thinking I could be reb pilot so I can fly with the rest of my fellow guildies.........
Looking at this forum, it seems best to fly with others instead of solo.......... more fun..........

If you are a rebel and your guild mates are rebel then choose whichever one you like best, If I didnt like the Imps so much I would be rebel just to get an x-wing as they look so cool.
Plus when you get a squad up in space fighting with you it is a lot of fun plus means you are more likely to complete your missions than become a burning wreck. Also means that if pvp ever appeals to you then you can do that too.

Freelance CorSec is the only true Neutral pilot. We can shoot at and assist anyone we like, or are getting paid by. You even get to pick the type of Corvette/SD mission you want in order to master. What could be better.

What? Smuggler's Alliance can also shoot/assist anyone we like. We destroy an Imp StarRavager for Master so you can embrace your rebel beginnings. SA is better if you like a challenge anyway

It really depends what you are looking for. I have done both the Rebel and Freelancer. I personally like the freelancer ships better. The only true downside is that freelancers can't go overt in DS. This is a major issue for me but I love my YT-1300 to give it up. Also since I was a rebel ace, now a freelance ace, and smuggler I can go to just about any station to get repairs and take missions from too.

As a SA or Corsec freelance pilot, you can fly for whoever you want.
If you go rebel or imperial pilot, your options on who you can fly with become limited.
If you want to earn faction points in space, then choose a factioned piloting profession.

well, if you like rebels go rebels, if you like imps go imps, if you want to shoot whatever the hell you want... be neutral. neuatral doesn't make sense though. considering cor sec uses X-wings and such. not dune lizards and the like.

I personally like the Royal Security Forces, although my guildmates are all rebel. I only go overt to hunt jedi with them. I like being neutral and having little to no loyalties (only to the credit that is).
Im a noob freelance pilot but I have my YT1300 and firespray chassis waiting for me when I reach master. I only like the X-wing for rebels and dont care for any of the imp ships, JMHO.

Sorry, you are wrong there. Freelancers CAN go overt in Deep Space, BUT they must choose a side to fight for.
