Thread: So my ship was destroyed...

The other night my ship was taken out while doing the newbie patrol mission. Seems my reactor/capacitor, chasisand engine are all shot, among other things. How can I repair my ship? I've searched tons of player vendors for repair kits and parts but have come up empty. Is there any other way to do this, or get another ship?

Next time you die, repair in space. It's a lot more convenient, and only costs a little more.

If it's your starter ship, destroy it and talk to your trainer, they'll give you a new one.

If you're a new player you should have a repair kit in your inventory. Otherwise shipwrights do make them - been a while since I used one though, so I'm not sure what they're under on the bazaar. They are listed, I bought a bunch one time.

Thanks for the help! The reason I didn't repair in space was because after the explosion cut-scene I was not able to target or communicate with the space station, so I logged out and then back in which took me back to Naboo. I'll try destroying my ship than talking with my trainer.

"C" targets the nearest station I believe, if they don't talk to you, and \ or /comm will initiate a conversation with them.

Caps are for emphasis, not for shouting.

MAKE GOOD FRIENDS WITH A SHIPWRIGHT AND TREAT THEM WELL FROM THIS POINT FORWARD.

(Or do like many of us and just do it yourself)

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

Hehe, I'm learning a lot of stuff here. Seriously though, a lot of this stuff is pretty overwhelming. All of these different components, parts, droids, etc. I feel like I need to be a certified mechanic to know what the heck is going on.

Is there a FAQ that goes into detail about everything space related? I can't seem to find anything.

I'm not sure why this forum is still open.

Go to the pilot forum, wonderful FAQ there.

This forum is open because it, the Pilot, and Shipwright forums form a "holy trinity" for any budding space explorer. If we only had 2 forums we couldn't have a trinity.

...and as we all know 'Trinity' is really nice, especially in a tight shiny rubber bodysuit with wicked black sunglasses on.
