Thread: Tex Kit Issues

anyone know why my tex kits work on about 50% of my ships?? I just got the heavy X wing and NOTHING...I have tried about 100 tex kits ...none do a thing...they dont even take the kit out of inventory when I use it...Any ideas?

Ships that are listed in slots 4-6 (as you see them listed on a starship terminal) cannot be textured, its a known bug. Simple workaround is to take the ship you want, launch, hyper to a new system, land, logout to your desktop, then load the game again. Should be in slot 1 on the starship terminal, and then a test kit is usable.


(side note: the RotW texture kits dont seem to work on the Adv Xwing)

Thank you! this explains alot ...as I have run into this problem several times...and sometimes it seemed like It would suddenly work...now I know that it was just cause the ship moved up in the window...I will try this now
