Thread: question about paint and texture kits

ive recently bought JTLS after taking a vacation from the game (about 3 months) and have no idea how these work or how they look, is there a website i can view them or can they be individually tailored by the user like the vehicle paint kits, and as an IMP can they be used on TIE's and such or is this forbidden by the Empire?

I'm pretty sure there's an old Friday Feature that showed examples of the paint kits... you might want to check there.

the paint kits work just like a vehicle paint kit you can change the trim and the main color of your ship.
the texture kits change the appearance or where the main and trim sections show up on the ship but do not change the color.
Imperial ships can not be retextured.

just checked the firday feature and noticed that no imperial ships are used, is this becuase they cant be cusomized in ths way or becuase the devs couldnt be bothered to put them into the feature?
