I received my veteran ship and at the management, the USE option doesn't work and won't tell me how many items are in the ship. Is this a known issue?

I'm a little unclear exactly where you are with your ship. Have you already used the deed and moved it to your datapad? If so and you are trying to redeed it, but can not because there is an item hiding on it, use the management thing onboard and select recover lost item. If there is anything on board it will get it for you.
If you are trying to use the deed make sure you have 2 or less ships in your datapad and a free lot. The yacht counts as one of your three total ships, and uses a ground lot too.
If neither of these is your problem post a little more and we'll see if we can help you.

Yeah I'm afraid I have never found a way to see how many items are in the ship.

Sorry. I have deeded my ship and am physically in the ship. I am at the management terminal and when I click on it and select use nothing happens. I am trying to find out how many items are in the ship. I have tried to find all lost items, but on the over head map I still have a white block and I can't figure out what the item is. I'd hate to redeed an lose an item of value.

i don't think this is a bug it's just something the devs forgot to add in maybe
the only way to keep track is to reach your limit, then you are aware of where your limit is
