Thread: Devs & CSR: Help & FIx pLEASE! is anyone else experiencing this?

Just recently i logged in, and my alt and my main character has lost:
a full set of comp armor ( was in inventory )
two of my favorite BE pets. ( was in datapad )
a Full bag of Space Loot ( was in my house )
A Ywing (in my datapad )
500,000 credits. ( inventory / bank )
I am so pissed right now i dont even know how to react.
I already took a long vacation becuase 6 of my main harvestors vanbished, without any sort of CSR help, sending in ticket after ticket, i log in and begin to try and play again. not only a week goes by and this happens?
Please help me. this really, really sucks.
I have spent so much money on this game and the time spent i dont even want to think about. As have others who have. Can i get a response please?

Yeah, that really sucks. Something similar happened to a friend of mine about two months ago, but it wasn't as bad compared to what happened to you, since only some shipwirght resources had gone missing.

if they dont help you.. you can always sue them.. you have right to your character and the items your character own´s by law 
the character is somethign you pay for and have bought the rights to, there is a law about this to protect online players..

The last time I heard of losses that diverse it turned out that the account had been hacked by another player. Might check into to that and send in a ticket regarding that for them to check out.
Hope you get a response soon.

Not true as far as I know - Id like to see you cite the law that applies. I can not disprove a negative, so that leaves only you to prove it.
As far as I know, the ONLY way you could sue, is if you could prove gross negligence, and even then, that was just 1 case overseas, nothing of the sort has been tried here.
The EULA clearly states that SOE owns your character, items, ect. They could shut the servers down tommorow, and you would have pretty much nothing to sue them over.

You should post this in the CSR forum also contact a CSR in Game.
They will most likely tell you to change your passwords right away, just in case you have been hacked.

If you got hacked you have legal options too.
You will probably have to call SOE to find out what steps you should take. SOE will have your log in times and ISP addresses you log in from.

sounds to me like someoen got into your account. certain things gone, a full bag, 500k of creds... from my limited knowledge, ppl i know who lost things ended up losing things like houses with everything in it. or a vendor with everything in it, things like that. safety deposit boxes would lose their items. but you lost certain things, so it sounds fishy... sucks that it happened though.. i'd hate to lose my items. i probaly would be able to play for a long while if that happened to me.

Bump.
...still looking for someone to fix the problem.
i dont care about going after SOE, i honestly when i had time to just settle down realize somethings like my pets are Irreplacable and that sucks. My kitty has been with me for i dont know how long, he will be missed.
money i can always get back, my friends have completely donated my lost funds in hope i can pay them back when a CSR shows up.

Just the fact that this happened ...i belive i am entitled to an explanation.

i dont honestly expect anything really. but it would be a nice surprise to hear from someone either way.
im feeling a bit more relaxed. but if it happens again im taking a permanent vacation from the game.

While I understand your anger, this is not the forum to be discussing this in. This is a forum to discuss JTL. Please usea support forum or contact a CSR regarding this issue.

I feel your pain regarding your lost pets etc., but you can't seriously expect an answer here in the JTL forum now can you?
Why don't you post in the CSR forum.

I'm missing two sets of armor, but I've been moving around quite a bit and I figured I must have lost them in the shuffle. Now, I'm not so sure...
