Has anyone else seen the screen shots for "Star Wars: Empire at War" from LA? it shows some very large scaled attacks in space with Capital ships from both sides fighting it out. I saw these shots and thought, "Man that would be so cool if we had a message that indicated to us that we had to go in to space and help out in a battle of that scale" Now that would breath life into JTLs mission assignments.

What do you all think? (seriously though go look at it on the LA sight before you say anything first)

That would be cool. But dang... that lag would be killer...

The problem withthat kind ofallout space battle would be lag. In a singleplayer game, it would be fine, but not in a MMO environment.

This is kinda in already, but not with large ships battling it out against eachother. In Deep Space there's a group of Blockade Runners battling fleets of TIEs, but that's about it. Once in awhile I think one strays near the Stardestroyer and a battle starts, but it doesn't happen often (and the Runner doesn't last long).
