Anyone know if it's possible to actually get any usable loot for docking with random freighters? Was hoping to start off as a lone pirate type of thing so I disabled every freighter I came across and looted them. Sometimes I'd find stuff on them that sounded like resources (explosive gases for example) but you never get anything in your inventory from this.

Im afraid not. There´s no actual loot from Freighters. They only carry stuff for missions, but even that stuff never apears in you inventory.

Hence, there´s no real pirate life in JTL. Even more so since other players also drop nothing upon death.

btw DVDA? Ur a Matt&Trey fan huh?

That´s their band.

Yes indeed I am. And I had quite a bit of fun at the office (where I used to play...naughty) cos no-one here knew what it stood for...which I won't tell on this forum

Aarrgh Matey! No loot for boarding freighters, ye must destroy real veseels first! arr

I had to do it

-I support a Galactic Civil War fought between regular, average players... Simply strict, hardlined Imperials & freedom lovin' Rebels fighting for control of the galaxy. A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

lol, shame there isn't a pirate system in JTL. It would be cool to loot stuff from ships.

Even if they were pirate missions, from say a criminal faction like Jabba / black sun etc, at least then you could have interesting twists and turns like you have to take a freighter, and its a trap and you need to escape alive

Would also be good to have a 'criminal level' so that you could get chased by Imperials or resticted access to space stations etc, depending on how much of a outlaw you are..

I've discovered (don't laugh it was new to me) that I can dock with disabled Frieghter and take there Cargo. But when I check my Inventory I have nothing in there. Do I need a ship cargo hold, or is this just a RP thing?
