Okay, I'm a tier 2 working on my first teir 3 box, I still have NO clue how to use droid commands. Could someone give me a step by step process of how to use droid commands? what do I need? and R2 unit? and how do I assign commands? I've asked but no one will give me an answer. Could someone please shine some light on this?

If you fly an Xwing, Z95, Ywing, ARC-170 or Jedi Starfighter, you need an R2 unit for you ship. All other ships use a flight computer, but they do the same thing.

To assign commands, call your droid or use the radial menu to program your F.C. and a menu will appear. All the commands you can assign will be on the left side, and all the programs you have in your computer will be on the right. You can get other factioned pilots to program droid command chips so you can use programs that you don't know. When you are setting up your ship, you need to assign your droid or F.C. to your ship like you would for any other component.

When you are in flight, you can see your list of droid commands by doing CTRL+A and looking under the astromech tab. Drag the commands to your F# keys for easy use.
