Okay, just got my xwing cert....I have the previous YWINGs...both had chasis somewhere like 1422/1422 or so...a "friend" sold me a Xwing chasis and the condition on that is 327/327..i didnt pay much for it...but have I been had? Or do the xwings have lower chasis conditions?

Condition is irrelevant. Mass is important. If you have a X-Wing with like 100k mass then you got a good one... regardless of the Chassis hitpoints.

Yes, it decays, but that is of no concern anymore. Since after cu the decay does not drop to 0 anymore. Hence you will never ave to replace that deed. Regardless of how low the chassis is

I happen to be a shipwright.

Since you are shipwright...why do I need ship repair kits... ie. Reactor Repair Kit and etc when the space station seems to fix most of problems?

In case you ever get stuck on the ground and the ship isn't in good enough shape to launch. Basicly, if that happens, you use the ship repair kits to get it up and running enough to launch, then have the station repair it fully.

Also, they can be used in POB ships to make in-flight repairs.

not to forget that some stations can only repair 75%

and at least its cheaper to use the repair kits then paying the expensive station

No, not really. They make sense for Multi person ships, since you can repair all components from inside the ship. And repairing the components with the appropriate repair kit repairs a bit better... But All Purpose Repair Kits are sufficient for daily use.

And if you are no Sjipwright, then you get the same from that stations repair as from the All purpose kits...

As shippie you get a slight better outcome doing it urself
