Thread: Tier 3 mission question

I have just completed a third tier mission ,the mission is one where you intercept a rebel ship, dock with it and get the plans, head back to naboo and transfer the files to a waiting imperial shuttle, I completed that, I went back down to the retreat and can't get the mission finalized, or get a box done.
Does anyone remember this mission and if there is something missing, or someone I need to talk to I missed somehow, my quest box shows no uncompleted missions.no NPC in the retreat will say anything about the mission or that I completed it, not even the guy Igot it from.

You might be simply bugged. Check ur datapad if the mission is still being displayed in it. If it is try canceling and redoing it... mostly that works...

I think this sounds like the problem I had.
I landed on Naboo before I got a mission update, sending me on to the Yavin 4 system for the next mission step.
The Mission giver just kept telling me to complete the mission.
When I launched back to space, the next step in the mission appeared in my mission journal.

I also had serious issues with the "Mercenary Spy" step as it refused to spawn at the Waypoint.
I had to log out and come back the following day to complete the mission.

I'm currently Privateer 3 3 3 3. I'm stuck on the mission to eliminate all enemies on the patrol route over Dantooine. I've been able to work my way through until I get to the wave of 4 Tier4 Imperial Interceptor gunships comming at me. With all 4 attacking me, that damn rotating cannon eats my 1.8k shields away within afew passes, even with ShieldShunt. The best I've been able to do is disable 2 of them before I have to either Hyperaway or eject.
I've been targeting their weapon to disable, should I target something else that would get the job done quicker? The reactor maybe? Does anyone have a good strategy for taking on multiple ships of this type? Should I just bite the bullet and search for a wingman to assist me? I basically fly to the waypoint and engage them. I'm running EO, WO, RO3, CO3. I make short work of all the other waves of Tier 4's, finishing off 5 of the "non-interceptors"without hardly breakinga sweat. The problem is the rediculous precision of that rotating canon on those Interceptors. Would the /ptrap1 help as a distraction? Is this even doable without some friends? Thx in advance for any helpful advice.
