Thread: I droped ACE rebel to start another pilot faction..and i get -160k pilot xp????

When i joined freelance and i'm standing at the ship term..i wanted to check out the names and tiers of ship..and on my first tier box is say i have over -160k xp..so,thinking it might be some funny bug,i log out and back in..npe still there...so i go to space and kill something..So all the xp i get now is going to pay this dang thing off...
NO,where did i read this would happen..just to start getting xp for my first tier box i need to work this off..This is messed up..Has this always been like this? tier 1 boxs u just need like 7500 xp for them..which is easy and fast..but i think this -xp thing is messed up 
fast way to get this done,is to ask for help..get a ride on mater ship and grind really fast..but i shouldnt have to do that i worked rebel ace all the way to tier 4 with out the need of xp grinding help..and ace box u didnt need xp for it.just kill the vette and your done

This does not always happen when you drop a pilot faction. Did you have an inspiration buff when you dropped Ace. That could be the reason.

It's the inspiration buff. Known bug and warnings have been posted in the pilot and jtl forum.

may been posted..but didnt see no sticky on this,when i was looking for info and asking about info on this....NOt one person said this might happen..No player,no dev,no CSR..
but im fine now only took 20mins maybe grouped with a ACE to fix this mess up problem"think god,for bud list"full of ACES"

so does that only happen if u drop while having an inspiration buff?

I've heard of this happening during the double XP days. Seems like you drop double XP too.

dont look at your prestige points, if you want realy get dissappointed. i dropped rebel and went freelance again, and had 184k negative xp. even as 0100 pilot it was well just a matter of 2 hours to get out of the hole with the double master xp bonus. but later i noticed that i had 886k negative prestige points.. and thats what blows.

I had the same problem as I dropped freelance and started Imp pilot. Only difference being my xp loss was 7.5million. Sent in a ticket and it was fixed in a few days with an actual response which was a first on any ticket I have sent in.
