did u have the actual weapon (eg. blaster, ion canon, or disruptor) and a weapons capacitator?

i dont think i had a capacitor why do i need that to fire my weapons,, but i did have wepons,, it was red blaster projectiles or something..

The Capacitor is a very important piece, it gives the energy to your blasters so that they can fire. So yes, you need the capacitor.

Without a capacitor your weapons won't fire.

Check if you have a capacitator. I had this too.

OK First off when i received my first free Z-95 from the Alliance trainer I did all bounch of mission and everything was fine with the default settings. I was using a joystick and i could do everything with default. Then i got skill 1-1-1-1, one of them was Y-Wing certification so I decided to purchase one of them then everything went wrong. I put everything in it like it shows on manage thenI went to space and I could not fire at all... I use CTL -O then I remap just in case and it was still not working, So I remove all the component and I put all new ones and still nothing... I could fly but not shoot.. I spend all night trying with another player who was a shipwright and he was also playing JTL on beta so we tried everything.. So I decided to give itup but I already destroyed my free Z-95 so I had to get a new one... I bought another one from a different shipwright with all the basic components and once again it was still not working like it would not fire but I could still fly... So I decided to destroy that one and have none in my data pad and went back to the trainer and I got another one for free... Then it was working again... So all of them I could not fire except the free one from the trainer ???????

By the way I started a group my friend and I and try to fly together in my Y-Wing,,,, He was in space with me but he could not fire the secondary canon and he was asking me if we were moving and I said yes but he reply that he could not see anything moving so did the shipwright whenI took him in space also....

So if someone could help me or explain what I do wrong it would be really appreciated...

PS: yes I look at the weapons assignements and everything was set right... It shows what is assign and what is not and according to other people it was the right settings
