Okay heres my deal. I used my Z-95 no problems to get my first 2 tier 1 boxes, I got the Ship Equipment and the Ship Cert one. My friend makes me a Y-Wing and all the Mark 1 Items and I make up my brand new Y-Wing. I go out on a duty mission to destroy TIEs, and this bug happens.
My blasters shoot right through them. I know about the Top/Bottom invun bug, believe me I was hitting them right in the little round center as it cam straight at me or I was right on its butt. My blasters would either hit it and dissapear or go right through the TIE and it would take 0 damage. It and its buddy NPC could fly around me and hit me for damage yet my shots went right through them doing 0 damage.
I even landed and switched from blasters to a looted Disrupter, launched and exact same problem. The wierd thing is, when I put in my disrupters my Blasts were still Green? I thought that disrupter bolts were blue. So anyway I switch back to my newbie Z-95 and voila! I can hit my Duty Targets easily. So I launch with my Y-Wing again, and same exact problem =(
I can't use my Y-Wing at all because of this, anyone else having this bug?

How close where you?
Sometimes if your to close you "Miss" even if its a direct hit.

There seem to be similar complaints from several Y-Wing pilots. (Happened to me, too.) Does it happen with a player-crafted Z-95?

Targetting through the reticle does not always = hit. On some ships the blasters come from such extreme angles that they dont always contact the ship your shooting at.
You want to make sure that the blasters are actually hitting the target, not going to the side or through a gap in the frame, try rolling to a different angle so you're 'level' with the ship etc...
