Ok, I'm a sweed (Swedish person) and haven't gotten my JTL yet.
M' gonna get it tomorrow.
So my problem?
Well, I'm 15, and my SWG subscription ended thistuesday, while my parents are out o town. They will be coming back today, so it will fastly get renewed.
I have been playing for almost a year now, and always resubscribed as soon as possible. I've never had a subscript period for over 6 months though, but it's not about that right? I mean, I still get the reward, considering i haven't CANCELLED the account... Right?
Quick answer will be very appreciated.
Thanks.

I have a similar problem, and emailed sony, talked to CSRs, etc. The answer given to me was that it had to be consecutive months. I believe it should be like you said, just having the account open for a length of time should get you whatever rewards may be given out. My situation is that I had a lapse in my subscription when I deployed for the military. Didn't find out about it until I got back home. Hopefully they will look into this matter a bit more.
Also, to check your veteran status, use the /getvet command in game, it will tell you how many consecutive days you have logged.

I think there is a 5 day "Pending" Period....so assuming you account isn't "Canceled due to none payment" You should still get it. All you need is 6 consecutive months paid for without any cancelation. You don't have to pay 6 months at a time....you just gotta pay 6 time (or 6one month subscriptions)in a row. Or have 6 Gamecards (Not sure if thats the right word) in a row.
Hope this helps.

No worries, I haveopened an accounton 8/30/2003 (release) and canceled my account on5/27/2004 and re-opened it on 7/27/2004 and it said I was a subscriber for 450 days. So I was able to get the yacht. No worries bud.

Question:
I don't have JTL yet (though I will) and I qualify for the SoroSuub yacht...
But my friend said that when he looked at the veteran status award, it said it only had 18 days on it. Is the SoroSuub you get as a 'reward' only a rental? You only can have the ship for 18 days?
That's what he said, and I'm feeling upset about it, can't find any reference to that on the forums. I hope that's just a mistake, or you only have 18 days to claim it, or something like that.
Because if my "reward" is getting a really cool ship that will only be "mine" for 18 days...what kind of reward is that?
Can someone dispel this myth? Or (less attractive) break my heart and tell me that this is indeed true?

It says 180, not 18, but no, that amount of days isn't its "expiration," I think it's a speical thing to be implemented in the future for those who have played for a certain amount of days, like maybe better speed or more item room, etc.
Edit: Also, that number count is the threshold for the amount of days you've played. Basically, if you've played 182 days, you get the "180 day" veteran reward, if you've played something like 374 days, you get the "360 day" veteran reward. Though it doesn't exactly do anything yet, plus it seems broken because everyone can only choose 180.
