ok i am an english person. I'm used to getting my games a few days later than the americans do. first i find it comes out on the 1st of October...WOW! great thats 1 day after my birthday, thats a lie, it comes out on the 29th, i wait patiently and what happens? i phone up my local PC game shop and the guy says "We are having delivery problems", then i phone up an hour or two later and i get "Sorry it comes out on the 5th of November now".
So you can guess i am very disapointed. But why do the american companies and suppliers toy around with us English and Europeans? Its not like we are an inferior race of people or something. If it was coming out on the 29th i'd be happy, it was only 2 days after the US release, but now i have to wait another 10 days. That may not seem that long, but considering that i've been waiting since it was first announced, it seems like an eternity. I am angry and disapointed.

I do not think this is Sony's doing or Lucas Arts.... prob some English Law or something.

Its partly all 3's fault
SOE and Lucas Arts for using Activision
But i still think someone at Activision lied when SOE asked if they could get it out on time cause they must of know GTA:SA was coming out the same day

yes but with GTA:SA being published by take 2 interactive, a rival of activisions, you'd think activision would do whatever it could to bring out some competition.
I read in a news paper this morning that people here in the uk started queue'ing up at midnight last night to get GTA.

Yes, that's right, it's an "English Law", just like being able to shoot Welshmen with a bow and arrow after midnight in the city walls of Chester. Idiot.

that doesnt make much sence that the delay was caused by San Andreas, as Jump to Lightspeed and San Andreas were released on the same day in North America. Unfortuanately with this there is plenty of blame to go around, from everyone SOE, Activision and LucasArts. But i do think it was inappropriate for the shops and online stores that have already got stocks of the game not to be aloud to sellling them to at the very least pre-order customers, but there you go.

it was worse when swg came out
during beta i met lot s of european testing it
but when swg was released suddently most suppliers cancelled the preorders from people outside the US
i asked several suppliers, some said that they troubles without beiing specific but 2 said that they are not allowed to sell the game to Europe and they had to cancel all orders.
Fortunatly i was able to get it via ebay
but back to the point
the reason for the delay is simple, SOE is protecting it s server from masses of people who want to play at day one of the game or JTL

To quote Hommer Simpson "It's funny because it's true".
NOTE: I in no way endorse the shooting of Welsh persons with bows and arrows. (Use a gun, it's more humane. j/k, j/k)

"JTL wassupposed to come today butit hasn't been delivered yet, probably because of San Andreas being released."
