Now one thing that was in the old Star Wars sim games was the throttle settings. There were 1/3, 2/3, 1/4. 1/2 and so on. While I'm dog fighting I find it a little annoying to manually have to throttle up or down, and I think this would be a nice way to adjust you speed quickly.

Make a macro for it then put it in your tool bar. I've got 3, one set for my ships sweet spot, one for full throttle & one for full stop. Simple enough.

or if you dont like to reach your hotkey's F# keys, just make the macro, then go in CTRL O - Control - Keybind - Custom... locate your macro and assign your preferred key for it

edit: oh by the way.. what is the command for throttling up and down anyways?

or get a joystick with a throttle control. I have a very nice Cyberstick 2 that works brilliantly with this game.
