Thread: What do you have to do for the 75k bonus

Started a new character today and was expecting a nice little 75k bonus for getting jtl to help me get set up, like my other alts did. However, no bonus for me. I signed up with RSF and did the first mission, is there something else I have to do or am I bugged?

The bonus ended on Januray 31 sorry mate you are a month and a half late.

I think you only get it on 1 character...I did anyway
Just start flying and by the end of tier 1 or early tier 2 you'll have more than 75k and it wont take long at all

no it didnt end nor do you get 1 character because i was experimenting with characters made like 3 and 2 of them got the 75k bonus they where all on the same sever then i tired making another one and it didnt give me it
i think you get a max of 3 so im screwed lol

I made a few different characters in January, and the bonus was always sitting in my bank account when I checked it on the ground (I don't think it was there when I checked the training bank). I haven't tried it recently, though (2 is enough for me)
As far as I can tell, the bonus only seems to apply once per galaxy. For example: create a new character on Bria (it gets the reward), delete it, create a new character on bria (it doesn't get the reward).

After reading this post and seeing a lot of differing opinions in this thread, I made myself a new character to test it out.
This new character got the usual 1000 credits plus another 75000 credits.

This is the sixth character although each on adifferent servers to have gotten the 75k.
So, my test concludes that indeed you can still get the 75k.
Oh, someone mentioned theyrecieved the 75k more then once on the same server, same account.
I haven'ttested that yet. but according to the devs at the time the 75k reward was announced they made it clear that it was a one time per account per server.

In that case if you were able to get the 75k more then once per server then I you should report it as a bug.
The reason should be obvious... They don't want players just generating new characters all day making a free 75k that they can tip to an alt or a friend.

i made a toon and got it.
had my control get bugged, setting to default didnt help, so i deleted and made a new toon.
didnt get the 75k the 2nd time around.
I filed a ticket, the CSR told me i had allready gotten the money on the prevous toon therefore i couldnt get it again on the same server.
