Does Ship Chassi Decay over Time/Use/Death?

I think they do decay. In Beta, I lost my X-Wing so many times the chassis condition went downfrom 1500/1500 to 20/20 in less than a week. Needless to say at 20/20 I would be one-hit killed once i lost shields and armour.


I believe each time the ship blows up, you lose a little bit of maximum condition in the chassis. I didn't notice any such drop in the components.

That doesn't make much sense. I thought the chasis's where the only thing that didn't decay.

I was in betaI never remember my parts decaying, if they do, where canI tell?I thinkI notice my chassi lower though after battle/death.


Grrr this is really going to be hard to maintain ships if all the parts decay...


Oh I know ship parts can be damaged and repaired, but is there a hidden over all condition that slowly ticks down?
