So I've got a bit of a problem. I was Imp Ace and dropped to go rebel (ground faction) long enough to do the ARC quests and then go up Imp again. When I drop Imp I lose my Imp piloting skills as expected. I need to fly so I decide to load up my old Sorosub but first I've got to clear one of my 6 ships (fully loaded). Problem now arises that I can't manage a ship that I'm not certed for. That's a bit of a problem. I've got all 6 slots taken with ships that I can't access until 4333 Imp at least. I can't redeed b/c they have components in them. Soooo I'm left with no way to fly. I have no idea if this will get seen here or not but PLEASE devs do something.
Oh and that ARC quest? The cherry on top of this sweet situation is that the last ground part escorting the wookies, right at the end, one walks with me while the other takes off running back to his spawn point. Ten seconds later I've got a failed mission. While the buggy AI is extremely frustrating I keep going and bum a ride BACK to kashyyyk (after trying to talk to the queen for the quest again) but it seems I can't get the quest there either. Woohoo for 3 scoops of bugs!
If I sound like I'm whining, sorry I'm just frustrated over losing about 3 or 4 hrs trying all this. I'm a QA specialist myself so I know the pains devs go through but please for the love of everything that's holy fix my situation (plopping a usable ARC in my inventory and letting me clear a ship slot would be my first though...
)

I feel for you, but the Pilot guide says that if you are switching faction to do yourself a favor and pack up your ships before hand. You may just have to pick which ever ship doesn't have the best parts on it and let it go.

I had the same problem. Submitted a ticket and was told it was a known issue and to /bug it. If I didn't wanted to wait for a fix I just had to destroy one. I've heard of other people submitting a ticket and getting a CSR that didn't stick to the rules so much and did redeed it for them.
So, I suggest you submit a ticket, 50/50 chance you'll get lucky.

Yeah, I'm gonna do that as soon as I find out if my ticket for the bugged quest goes though
