Thread: Blacksun Vaksai Heavy Fighter

Well i finally did the quest for Vaksai fighter, got the deed as a reward and a badge to say i'd been awarded said ship. The cert for the ship is in 4th ship box of freelance pilot (not checked if imp/rebel pilots have the cert as well). Now i have teh deed, i have the badge, and i have the skill with the ship cert.
Now here's the problem, i try to generate the ship and get the message "you don't have the badge needed to use this ship" , i've reported a bug and all but i was curious, has anyone else came across this problem for the vaksai ( or any new ships for that matter as i've not tried the others yet)?

yeah, its a problem with the arc170 as well.
expect a fix in a few days.

It's the reward ship for capturing the corvette and escorting it in at the end of the Kashyyyk space station story arc. I was wondering myself what the mass and hitpoints were on this thing.

i was hoping for..but with all the ROTW info and pics on other ships the vaksai was neglected from even a passing mention..so no pics, no info on mass etc less sumit has been posted recently i've missed.
Cheers for the reply, glad its not just me with this problem (hopefully that'l mean a fix soon then).
As for the mission, like the above guy said, hit wook ville neut station, do some civi protection guild missions and the final one is to capture a rebel corvette that some pirates have nicked (any faction can do it). Wish i could go for the arc..unfortunately am a imp groundside so i'm screwed

Well I'm an Imperial pilot so I got the Royal Guard interceptor from the same quests, I just never even heard of this fighter and would like to see it some time.

there some chick in the pilot forums who has pics of vaksai in her sig i believe. Atleat i think its a girl, if its not please don't take offense if you're reading this lol 
The sig says something about how she loves her ships and has clicky of each ship, vaksai was in there.

Sheafer, I suspect it's something to do with not being an ace. Another guy had the same problem, as I did, and we were both 4th tier. And now you've got the issue. But some people are getting it. My guess is it's looking for the ace badge...
Man, is there ANY part of JTL that didn't get bugged since ROTW?

The Vaksai is pretty sweet...got mine last night. Looks like a Kihraxz, handles like an A-wing, has 150k mass... I fit a Level 10 RE'd reward engine in it, and some other goodies... only ran E03 and she was moving like grease lightning. One one set of weapons, but you can fit some big ones on it... Very nice ship

I've been told recently by a CSR that need to report it as a bug, which i have done, hopefully it won't be long before it's fixed.
It maybe looking for a master badge..but why it should be looking for a master badge when the cert and all other details don't ask for /state it requires a master badge is beyond me. Hopefully when i finish the vette off i'll see if it lets me generate it.
