Is somebody can tell me this, I can calculate the probability of finding another ship (PC or NPC) within a space zone over time.

Alright then, let me see if I got this right. If the entire space sector is 16000m per side, and your radar goes out in a surrounding cube of approximately 8000m, then there are only 8 cubes to search in an entire sector!!! If it takes 5 minutes to get to the center of one cube to another, then it will take 40minutes to search an entire space region. This can't be right, radar really goes out 8000m????
