Thread: Rolling with a gamepad

Anyone here know how to change the settings for the gamepad that will allow you to roll and not loose full speed? I can roll right or left by using my right hand on the left/right arrow buttons whereas my left hand can control my direction.

The problem is when I am at full speed and use my right hand to roll it cuts the speed to half throttle whereas the keyboard Q and E don't cut the throttle in half.

Any ideas?

Goto Options.

Key Settings (I think) maybe controls...something I can't remember

At the bottom there is a "Key Mapping" Button which allows you to redo all your keys.

I've actually been to the key mapping page but couldn't figure out how to make the proper change to correct the problem. Anyone know what I specifically need to do?

I bought a Saitek 2500, and the left analog defaults to speed on vertical axis, roll on the horizontal, it auto centers, setting the speed to 50%. The right analog defaults to camera. The direction pad works like the mouse. I haven't managed to get the Saitek programming set to change this behaviour. I haven't managed to get the SW:G options to change this behaviour.
