Thread: Quest Issue/Question: Privateer Quest Eisley to meet Nym contact????

I believe who your looking for is located in the space above lok. I work for Talon mind you. You should see a grey spot on your radar. Fly to it.

You need a Nym's Fuel Technician. The right one is inside Nym's Palace, in the right side of the building, in the back, with all the weapons. If you actually read what the trainer told you, you would have a name for the contact.

I just trained 1111 Privateer in Eisley and my next mission was to find some Nym contact to get a package. I've run all over Nym's compound on Lok looking for this contact, clicked on every NPC and NOT found a single lead on this quest.

I read everything carefully. No name was given, it was just "Nym's contact". I tried to converse with every NPC at Nym's stronghold, including two fuel guys (one insdie, one outside). That is for a different mission.
Anyway, I did in fact find the contact.....in space. Apparantly there was a bug where this mission was not giving the wp to the datapad. Once you get into space the wp mysteriously appears.

Hi there. Any chance you could post the approximate coordinates or let me know how you got the wp to eventually appear? I'm having the same trouble.

Had the same problem. But for some reason when I finally upgraded to a tier 2 Dunelizard...the waypoint shows up in Space over LOK.....hope this helps.

I did this mission. It's in Lok space, not Lok ground. As soon as you hyper to Lok, or launch into Lok space, the waypoint will appear.

I did this mission once. The contact disappeared as some hostiles took him, but you get the hostiles as mission objectives (a tier 2 and 3 tier 1s), you blast them and the mission is done. Then you have to return the package to Valarians pilot trainer at the basement of the Lucky Despot (at least in TC 
).

If the mission is not showing up in your datapad, then check your Quest Journal. It usually states in there what system you should be on to continue your mission.

Thanks guys.
I'm getting the feeling the wp isn't appearing because I cruised over to Lok in my Yacht...which obviously has no weapons systems. I couldn't take my "beginner" fighter over there because it has no hyperdrive. If you do indeed have to fight some ships in order to get the package, I'll bet that is why the wp is not showing up:because I can't fight.
I'm going to upgrade my fighter and see what happens. I'll bet that will fix it.
