Well...
After reading a couple thread I have a couple ideas on what could be scripted. I will try to set these up tonight and post all in this thread if anyone is interested.....if these are already out there haven't seen them.,..post link if anyone has a nice site please let me know...otherwise i will grind these out
1. Have a macro that targets the closest enemy ship ever 10seconds. -- Good for the kessel system when you want to hunt XP and stay clear of the those crazy corvettes, this macro/alias combo could tell you the closest ship as you flew. Draw backs would how to stop it in manner that wouldn't make just better for you to just click closest enemy by hand and the effects on combat if you couldn't stop the macro.
2. Have a macro that cycles through all or a set number enemy ships that are in the area. - - Good for getting an idea about ships in the area; how many there are, what kind they are and roughly where the groups of NPCs are. I myself would have it cycle to the next enemy ship 20 times at 3 second jumps.
3. Macro a "power move" - - Example i am thinking for my bomber: overcharge weapons..cycle weapon to group two (single laser)...pause 38 seconds (the time it takes to drain cap when deadkeyed)..switch to group 4 (missles)...wait 10 seconds...set weapons to normal....cycle to group 1 (both laser cannons)...the end (note given as example not a working script)
4. Macro a energy saver - would toggle between over charged and normal settings...would allow you to set a "window" in which to fire off a couple high powered rounds but when you comp is able return you to a normal mode to recharge better while still being able to fire.
5. Macro/alias a system to help communicate with your group mates - - has been touched on thought i would bring it up...i use a macro alias combo that lets who-ever is my wingman know that i am actively moving toward something and they should follow me...and then another to let them know i need help right now
