my x-wing barely has over 100k mass, is this the best, close, or was i ripped-off?

i bought it for 165k

That's the max for the X.. you should be thankful for that much mass in a starfighter.

max mass is 100K. ANything over 100K is gravy.

100K is ALOT for a ship of the Xwings given role. Its a good all around ship, with good maneuvarablity. Realistically, its the only ship you need.

You can squeeze alot into that 100K mass with the right parts.

dam 100k mass and only 165k you got a good deal, don't tempt the SWG gods (devs) they just might take it away and give you a TIE FIGHTER lol

100k mass is right where it should be for an x-wing......I just don't like that if you want to use it for tier 5's and master missions, you need great shields and since most great shields you need are over 30k in mass....it's not much else you can do but have all your other parts at level 5, maybe 6......now if I could just find enough level 8 shields to RE and get the mass down, I'd be good to go....but that's my biggest problem with the x-wing....I need the shields to be strong.....afterall, uber weapons don't mean zip if you can't stop the enemy from getting through to your hull and damaging those uber guns.....worse than that (damage the capacitor then you don't have the energy to shoot anything).
