I'm Imperial, flying for the SA. Went overt today, shot some Reb ships, and did not get any faction points. Also can do ground faction missions, and I do not get any FPs? Am I bugged somehow, or is this intended? And if this is intended why?

As an imperial privateer, can you get rebel faction points and loosing imperial points for killing TIEs and do you gain imperial points for killing rebels?

no one gains faction points in space
The point is that as SA pilot, you are able to shoot TIE fighter : are you really sure you want to loose imperial faction points by killing them and gaining rebel faction points?
