Thread: A few issues with JTL and ship handling

A few issues that I have notice that make the fighting and flying a bit strange in JTL. I have been playing JTL since beta and have been a master rebel pilot for quite some time.


There are two primary issues I would like to address that are in regards to how ships handle.


Issue 1: I do not understand why rolling in JTL is so darn slow. It most space games and even flight simulator games rolling is very fast. I am not saying change the pitch (up/down) or the yaw (left/right) I am saying make spinning about twenty times faster. Being able to spin faster will make the ships feel more nimble and act more like they should.


Issue 2: In multi-passenger ships, if the DEVS are not going to give pilots a front firing weapon please incorporate a center lock position for the gunners so that they can always return to a home position which targets directly in front of the ship. This would make it easy to deal with the latency and make gunners have a chance to fire on ships directly in front of the ship.
