I'm having a hard time finding space mining resources anywhere in vendors oron the bazaars. I don't think there is a catagory in the bazaar for space resources. I got the basic mining laser and cargo hold for my dunelizard, took me over 30 minutes to get 80 units of resources so I thought I would buy some and found none anywhere! Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!

Yeah, shipwrights are bleeding money for these resources 50 CPU, on average. So pretty much every miner is already contracted.

It goes a whole lot quicker with a Mark III laser, tractor beam, and a crafted cargo hold. I can fill a 1500 unit hold in ~30 minutes, in my Krayt.

Wow 50cpu, I hate to buy a new ship and all the equipment that goes with it to just be able to mine that stuff, since I'm an Artisan and the only thing I wanted to make was the Barc speeder repair kit that takes 750 each of Carbonaceous and Petrochemical Asteroid but if it's that expensive to make, who's going buy the finished product?

I'd disagree What's a few thousand resources to fix a reward/prestige item that no one else can get. I'd say that in a couple weeks, after everyone's speeder starts decaying a lot, you're going to do a big trade in repair kits.

Also, you can pack a Mark III mining laser, Tractor beam, and large starfighter hold into a pretty small ship. No need to go out and buy a whole new chassis. Andif you go through 3/4 of the mining quests, you'll get a decent mining laser and a 1000 unit hold for free. Not a bad deal, that

Open your data pad on the ground, and open the radial menu for your mining ship. You will check cargo hold and retrieve resources, or something like that. The first will show you what is in thehold, the second will dump it into you inventory. No idea how to sell them yet, but since I have a SW I doubt I'll ever do that =)

So there is no way that you can check what's in your Cargo Hold while your mining in space? I know that some percentage number pops up after you successfully extract some recources from the 'floating chunk', but that must be the yield from that chunk only or is that the total in the hold? Am I missing something or did SOE forget to program a way to check the cargo hold while in space?

Man what a pain if you have to land everytime you need to check how many units you have mined!!

When your in space , look on the right hand side icons, the lowest one is a fuzzy ball, click on this one to see the percentage your cargo hold is filled.

Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, Chef's attorney would certainly want you to believe that his client wrote "Stinky Britches" ten years ago. And they make a good case. Hell, I almost felt pity myself!

But ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider: Ladies and gentlemen this [pointing to a picture of Chewbacca] is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! (Background: Damnit! What? He's using the Chewbacca defense!) Why would a Wookiee—an eight foot tall Wookiee—want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!

But more important, you have to ask yourself, what does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!

Look at me, I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense!

And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense.

If Chewbacca lived on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.

Cool, thanks gracos I'll try that the next time.

Just got back from mining Carbonaceous, got all of 150 unitsbefore the chunks quit. When I started, the Asteroid's condition was low, like 600/4900. I blew it up and started with a new spawn. The condition was all the way up to 4936/4936 ( when entering : /examine ). Chunks were flying great and I got 120 units. When the condition of the Asteroid went to 4260/4936, no matter how many times I shot my laser, it would not losen any more chunks. What gives with that?
