What are the rules for naming your ships?
Are they the same as the ground game? i.e. two words that aren't "restricted"(Vader's Ship), that have to be unique (no 20 players flying ships all named "Pwnd Joo"), etc.

There are some reserved words you can't use (including "the"). The name may be any number of words as long as it's under the length limit (which I forget atm). Ship names do not have to be unique.

So there can be like 50 "Centurian Falcons" flying around?

If you had 50 people with "Centurion Falcon" as the name, you could still tell people apart.
As you target someone, you'd see something like "Jim Smith (Centurion Falcon)" as the target name.
