I sat down and fugured what it will take to get shipwrights done. If you do it by grinding ship hulls.
1) Steel=2368000 units
2) Alum=592k units
3) Fiberplast=592k units
4) Iron=592K units
5) Inert pet=592k units
6) Ore=1184000 units
Total = 5920000 units
If you have the stuff already you will have no prob. For those who have to buy it for 3cpu will cost a ton. I really hope the resource ppl do not start raising the prices to make a quick credit.

Most people who are going SW have been stockpiling for the release date. It wont be cheap but by grinding chassis there will be Master SW within a few hours. Not that it will do them much good since all the pilots will have to gain their experience the hard way.

Yeah but I didn't realize this the other day and I was never able to access the Beta Forums because the forum admins don't know they were doing even though I sent them an email over a week ago with no response or action. Guess I got to stockpile now, 4 character's lots should help

I had it figured out to how many of each ship you needed to make. It was something like 12 tie lights, 14 regular ties, 20 of the next box, 45 of the third teir box and 145 of the fourth tier box ship. lol a little crazy, but I guess when you are grinding up you need to locate where the resources are for the components.

I started stockpiling before i got into beta. I just pulled anything inorganic out of the ground that i could.

5 million resources is nothing. you can carry that in one pack.
This is much easier than most professions. There are no subcombines for ship chassis. Just add resources and repeat. If there were subcombines or things that required factory runs that would be hard.
Also, considering the difference between a chassis made by a novice with grind resources and a chassis made by a master with uber resources is negiligble, you should be able to sell things as you work your way up.

People have been stock piling since April or May. I know several people with 50 million or more resources, I probably have 30 million.
Yes prices on steel are gonna go up. you use steel in a 2-1 ratio.
One thing I don't get, why is the ore so heavy, that seems to be a mistake. You use more aluminum than ore don't you?
