no but there is reverse enginneering wherey ou take componets of same lvl and reverse engineering so say ou got 4 lvl 4 engines you can reverse engineer them and come up with something better

No slicing as in take it to a smuggler, though.

GD ... slicing space components ... should have thought of that! That's a great idea, I hope we see it when they do the smuggler/merchant space additions.
