The spawn rate on the hostiles is insane.
They are spawning in faster than anyone short of a massive group can handle.
:-/
So I am basicly 10k in the hole and stalled now

It is not bugged. Everyone has the same problem. You need to get friends to help. Also on the survival missions you get hyper to a spot in the same system to get through that, and remember its just a survival not destroy. As you stay in the same system your mission will stilll go on. I'm still trying to finish them myself.

i had a friend provide cover fire while i boosted to each shuttle and docked, get some good shield and armor and help your wing keep the numbers down before you dock and you should be fine
