If I dont have any skill points left, will I need togive some up to train in pilot skills? And while I'm here, give me some opinions on JTLS Still wondering if I should come back to SWG and try it out.

No, you don't use any skill points for the pilot professions. I think it´s a great expansion but since the vast majority of content is on the ground it really doesn't change things much.

The vast majority of the overall game is still ground. But JTL has all but kept me off of the ground since it launched.

It's fun until you have to start to grind tier 4. I love the mostly quest based structure of the game.

That's funny b/c I had the most fun with tier 4. I blew through each box a night (3 hour sessions) and mastered on the 5th day. I made a TON of money during that time too (only to spend nearly every cent on my YT-1300 and it's components and a crate of 25 packs of Mark II spacebombs).

Personally I am one of the biggest fans of JTL you can find. I love it and I love the potential that it presents. I make a truckload of money upstairs and now that I'm master I can keep it virtually all of it.

It's not much of a grind anymore as there are all the new station story missions you can do instead of doing the same old kill mission over and over and over... or mob hunting (BLA!!!)

With JTL not intergrated SWG is like "two" games in one. The missing link is now there and the gameplay in spaceas well as the new groupings that are happening to take on some of the missions are just about as fun as it gets. I see it ano brianer. Totally worth coming back to!

Nice one, I just ordered JTLS anyways. So, tell me what are the most common prices for the VT49, Tie Fighter and Tie Agressor and decent gear for them (Boosters, whatever)? And which Tie is the best fighter?

I can't speak for Imperial ships but my x-wing cost me 1.2 million fully loaded. You better start working on your bank account because the ships are not cheap nor are the parts for them.

You should definately, and I say this from experiance, come back for JTL. I did, and I love it, its fantastic fun, it adds a completely new dimension to the game: one night I might feel like getting another faction rank, but what if I cant be arsed to get buffed, find and buy a fresh crate of brandy, find a large group, travel to lok, travel to a player city with bases etc etc? Well thats simple, I hop in my TIE Advanced, launch into space, declare overt and start killing Rebel fighters in Kessel, 30-40 FP a pop and less than ten minutes preperation. Plus its fun

Whats even better is you can actually make money as a pilot, sure it heps to have a few hundred K salted away when you start out to supliment loot drops, but I can go out at 4443(almost 4444) and make 250k in a night, between mission rewards, credit loot and componant loot which I sell to the Chassis Dealer NPC, I can make quite a hefty chunk of cash, especially now solo-groups are no more, making money in space is almost as effective as running 12k missions on Dathomir, but it takes less time to prepare for and its much more entertaining than just spamming Two-Handed Spin Attack 3 over and over.

Go for it.
