I'm helping a friend do this mission, but it seems really wierd. In the first part of this mission you are supposed to assist a group of Nym fighters attack an Imperial station. The wierd thing is I don't see any imperial station to attack.. just a bunch of Tie fighters and an Imp gunboat. So far we have not been able to complete this part successfully.

The really wierd thing is that after failing this first part, you're given part 2 of the mission.. help rebel bombers escape. I think your supposed to fight off Tie fighters for 8 minutes while the B wings hyperspace out.

So far we've not been able to complete either parts of the mission successfully.

Any tips would be appreciated..

There is no actual space station during this mission. Quite a dissapointment, huh?

As for the second part of the mission: Most of the Havoc tier 4 missions (and presumably all tier 4 missions) gives you a second chance if you fail on the first step of the mission. This second chance is not always easier though, sometimes it's even harder.

Atip thatI can give you is to stay away from aggressors and gunboats until you really have to take them down.

The gunboat is not impossible, not even solo. The trick is to have a maneuverable ship and to only make attack runs from directly below. Don't engage any of the other fighters while the gunboat is nearby though.

As for aggressors. Never follow them. Boost away and "joust" them. Their turret is more accurate and dangerous than their front mounted gun.

And of course, always remember that IFF scramble is your friend. /eshields also.
