So I was trying to solo the final tier 4 exit mission, I started by triggering my latest skill Bstrike2.
....I didn't really notice the strike package do much of anything, and they all got taken out pretty quickly.
So, I was just screwing around today (4 days now and I havn't been able to find anyone to group with)
Around Tat space I came acrost a group of 6 tier 1 fighters and figured heh why not ... I Bstrike2'd them.
The package jumps in, 4 TIE Interceptors and 2 TIE Bombers. Boy are those lowly tier 1's in for a beating.
...or ......
My strike package just kinda loitered around for a few minutes before they even fired at the enemy ships, and even then they only engaged the single tier 1 I had targeting when calling in the package.
....time passes ....
I noticed the TIE Bombers never seemed to engage at all, only a couple of the Interceptors were activly following the fighter .... time passes....
Finally they manage to kill the single tier 1 fighter, ignoring the other 5 enemy fighters, and the package leaves.
... I can't stress this enough, my strike package did not destroy the single tier 1 fighter they were called in on untill a few seconds literally before my "skill" reset.
Not more than 5 seconds after the strike package finally finished and left I got the message saying I was ready to perform another "trick".
I'll have to try Bstrike1 in a similar situation, but when I've used Bstrike1 I've allways noticed them doing some good.

Bomber Strike 2 always has attacked what you have targetted at that time. Its what it does.

Thier discription says an enemy or group of enemies.
none the less they should have wiped out that single tier 1 enemy as soon as they arrived on scene.
It's no wonder they are useless against my tier 4/5 mission targets.

Bombstrike 2 and 3 are very useful when used on gunboatsand other capital ships. Two bombstrike 2's and one bombstrike 3 called at the same time nearly destroyed the mission critical gunboat in one of myTier 4 missions, in less than a minute, and they also took out a few of its escorts. But anyways, bombstrikes are very good at distracting your enemies, but just don't expect it to kill everything for you. In fact, if you call bombstrike before you're spotted by the enemy ships, they will competely ignore you and focus solely on your bomb squadron as long as you don't start shooting at them.

I use bomber strike 3s to solo vettes in deep space. Just one will practically destroy all the turrets if you give it the time. Sure they aren't the best at killing fighters, since that would be like sending a A-10 to kill a MIG. Like trying to hit a jeep with a howertzer from 50 metres.
Its rock paper scissors: bombers are the rock, fighters are the paper, capital ships are the scissors.

those bombers turn very slowly, maybe that tier 1 fighter turned faster and that was the reason the bombers never got to attack it. the interceptors should though.
as already said, bstrike2 only goes for a single target, bstrike3 goes for a group.
the bstrike isnt supposed to do all the killing for you. its only support after all.
