Just wondering, because I have scanned about 5 pages deep into this forum and didn't see any posts pertaining to it.

Lately, I have been doing the "Escort the Rebel Spy" NPC missions from Rori. These are great missions for XP because they spawn about 10 waves of Tie Fighters per mission.

However, there is very little difficulty because the Tie's rarely shoot back at me. Over the past 2 nights I have taken a grand total of 3 shots from them, and it's only on the initial attack run that they make. After that, they concentrate their fire on the Rebel Spy ship only. Not once have I been engaged by an enemy ship, this is quickly turning into the same feeling that I used to get before ground based MOB's went back to using specials and force-powers... it's great to 'grind' but it's not a lot of fun.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

That only happens in duty missions though.
