I think it wouldbe awesometo have pilots get/lose faction points for killing ships in space like we do on ground (i.e. lose Nym faction for killing Nym's ships etc.).It would certainly make a lot of sense for Imperial and Rebel pilots. Why be a certain faction in the first place if you don't get any points? This would also help me save up for an AT-ST

Go overt.. you will get faction points for every kill. Not to mention you might run into another overt player or two..

tier 5 ships give about 50 fp when you are overt.

Wait a sec. I killed like 20 tier 3 rebs in lok system while overt but i didnt get a single fp. whats up with that?

you were overt? as in going to the imp station and declaring? or overt in the ground sense?

no problem. tier 3's give like 20 fp a kill. or maybe less, i dunno, i have only been killing 4's and 5's recently. Incidentally, if you need xp or faction, don't hesitate to declare and go to kessel. Few other's declare and nearly any ship can slip in and destroy b-wings and y-wings with ease. 8k xp, 50fp, not a bad system, lvl 6-10 loot. You can try x-wings, but stay away from a-wings until you can take em out in a coupla shots.

Go overt and then go and do the Tier 4 destroy duty missions, fastest way to get kills and FPs, and loot too since Tier 4 and Tier 5 share the same loot table.
