Is there any benefit of using a flight computer over a droid or vice-versa?

Astro droids are for rebel use.. Flight computers are for imperial use..

Harleyman is no more.... and through the ashes, -Ronin- has risen...

Not neccessarily. Droids are for ships that can hold them, i.e. X Wings and Y Wings

Flight Computers are for everything that cant, including rebel ships like the A Wing and B Wing

The only ships that I know for sure use a droid are the Z95, Y-Wing, Y-Wing Longprobe, and X-Wing.

All the other Rebel ships use a flight computer. I don't know about Imperial or freelance ships.

All ships but those rebel ships you just listed use flight computers. Is there any advantage to one or the other? No, not in space flight.

The only difference between them is you can use droids for other things on top of flight(it just uses their data storage module to store droid commands).
