Thread: Why can't I hit?

Hi
I was without playing for some weeks, and now, I can't hit any enemy fighters. Of course I know hot to aim (at least, before), but I NEVER hit.
I can hit big ships, but I do not damage them after 1000 shots.
So, I supppose that something has changed or I'm doing something wrong.
Please, any help?

Had that problem once, I could only do damage on one side of an enemy after it had hit me in a time window of about 10 seconds after the hit. I knew something was wrong so I landed, exited and relogged in and it was gone, thanks goodness. I still don't know what caused it and could not repeat it so I didn't report it.

I have this same problem if another piece of software, (especially peer2peer software, Kazaa, BearShare, etc..) is sharing my SWG internet connection and is in the process of uploading/downloadig.

Possibly you are lagging. Check your ping from Ctrl-Shift-G. If you have higher than 150 ish ping you won't be able to hit oftern as this game is a fast paced one. The pointer you shoot at shows the wrong spot as the ship prolly not there when you fired 
And sometimes you need to shoot just a little bit lower or upper from the pointer. Just try and find the best spot to shoot. But usually you can't hit because you are lagging. Hope that helps.
