Wow i was just escorting a imp ship when like 12 reb ships came and attacked and it was awsome i had 4 freinds with me and you just see lasers everywhere ships exploading, it was cool like from rotj. And when i was following a y wing it was doing a dive towards the escort ship and it was like 5m away from hitting it and it just exploaded and i went through the flames. It was really cool, tell me about any of ur movie like swg experiences.

Hmmm, I'll have to come back later to describe my experances, but that does sound very cool and "Star Warsy," as the devs say.

Very nice. The cloest I've ever come to a "movie-like" experience is when I was attacking the Star Destroyer. A bunch of Rebel NPCs thought it prudent to help me. With their help I took out every turret on it except the 4 unattackable ones.

I think the first "movie like" experience i ever had was the first time i had to do the corvette. (star ravanger)
Back then, i dont think anyone really knew all the little details about how to do the vette. So there was this huge armada of ships (so many we had two groups of ppl going) that assembled with other ppl looking to complete the mission.
All those Xwings assmebled near the DS station, droids chiriping, a fully crewed nova.. was kinda cool. It was kind of like taht scene in ANH when the rebels first approch the star destroyer and red leader says "lock S foils into attack position", .. felt just like that scene in the movie.

First time I went to DS...was on Bria as a Rebel pilot. First things I see are a convoy for three Corvettes crawling through space, laser fire all around them as Imperial fighters made strafing runs and Rebel ships tried to fight them off. I got engaged in the battle, and for 30 minutes it was just laser fire everywhere, explosions everywhere...like the first poster described, I chased a TIE Interceptor as it made a run at one of the 'vettes, I destroyed it and the debris crashed into the shields of the 'vette, causing a huge flash of light. Was just an incredible experience...one of the reasons I love DS, you can almost always find an "epic" battle going on.

I think one of my coolest movie-like experiences was when I helped do a raid on the corvette (star ravager). We had disabled the turrets and were about to finish it off when some TIE oppressors attacked us. I got on one and managed to blow it away. THe pieces impacted the corvette head on right at the same time someone finished off the bridge. The result made it look like the debris collision actually caused the ship to explode. Was the coolest thing I had ever seen so far in JtL. I just wish i had a screenshot of it or a fraps movie.
