Thread: Cant Get out of ship please help!!!

I decided to have a look at my new yacht even tho i havent tried JTL yes as i am waiting till i get a joystick. I couldnt figure out how to get out so i stupidly used the ejector, blew my ship up and was towed somewhere..I cant seem to move the ship or get out of it...Can anyone help cause this is driving me mad!

Press C to target closest space station, then whatever button you use to communicate ( / is standard, I had to remap my keys), and ask for repairs. when that's done, speak to them again about landing.

Yeah, movement in JTL can be difficult to understand.
Press the ALT key to switch between interface(where you can select things on the menu) and combat modes.
Learn to use the TAB key to select targets and when docking with a space station use:
/comm target to speak with the space station. 
I would also use your beginner ship for awhile. Even slightly past the y-wing classic certification because it's very inexpensive to repair(100) credits.
And it's very durable, just save any Tier 2+ items for your next ship and sell the rest to a chassis dealer.
Note: Movement with the mouse is actually not bad
