When installing an astromech droid into my ship, is higher or lower command speed better? I assume the higher speed is better but not absolutely sure. Also, does the hyperspace calculations get faster as you get better droids or does the hyperjump always take the same amount of time for everyone?

Astromech quality has no bearing on the performance of the ship at all. The speed on the Droid Interface component in the ship should be *lower*. So a 15.1 speed DI is better than a 23.6 speed. It's the time in between droid commands.

Hyperspace calcs are the same speed for everyone, and can't be changed.

The only reason for the better droids is that higher level droids have more memory space, meaning either more commands or better ones.
