The twist-control on it is the smoothest and most accurate I have ever felt on a stick. I can get the best adjustments, by far. If you opt for the wireless (which is the one I use, because at the time, they didn't MAKE a wired version), the batteries last about 40 hours or so, so I'd recommend getting a rechargable set. The feel of the device is outstanding, it's sturdy, tip-free without being clunky, and the trigger action absolutely rocks.
Works great

Best tactile feel and sturdyness of all the ones I groped at the store. Only thing with it is that there is a known problem where calibration can drift and you need to unplug it to reset.
Have been really happy with it so far except once when calibration drifted and I was stuck spinning in space before I figured out how to fix it.
So now I need to buy a new one and I'd like to hear what everyone recommends.
And, yes, I'm really really into flight/space sims.
Ive got a Logitech 3D Extreme Pro. I just installed it the other day and have never really used a flight stick for any game before, so i really dont know if its any good. I like it well enough. Its got a nice feel to it, lots of buttons, and the stick itself is pretty accurate. Im still not use to using a Flight Stick, but the more I use it, the more I like it. I would recommend it, but like I said, I dont know that much abotu them. PC Gamer gave it like a +90% on its score, which was more than what I needed to know lol.
However I do have a question for you Flight Sim Philes out there. Is there a Fligth Control system that is like... a steering wheel, but not really a steering wheel? You know, like what you woul dexpect to find in a Starship, where you have the two handles..... like the Mellinium Falcon has. Seems to me that would be the most practical tool for flying. Oh well... I didnt do a well enough jub of explaining it, maybe you guys can figure out what Im talking abotu though.
