I'm trying to do the tier 2 mission where you have to dock with the lambda ship but it wont let me dock. I've tried to disable it but it just blew up. Anybody have any advice or any help at al?

to disable it, you need to target one of its subcomponents. Use the bracket key once you target it to target the reactor. Shoot it until the reactor is down to 0%. That will disable it without blowing it up. Next get within ~100m. I dont know what the max distance you can be away to dock, but 100m should be good enough. make sure you do /inspect then type /dock. The docking process is automatic and it will undock when everything is done. That should be all you have to do. Good Luck. It might be helpful to have someone watch your back while you do this since you cant fly or shoot anything while docked and are pretty much defenseless.

You're lucky mate, I cant even get the shuttle to spawn, despite restarting the mission 3 times last night. Strangely a guildmate is having the same problem of no spawn.
Anyone any suggestions as to wot we may be doing wrong, beofre I ticket this?

it took me 2 days to sort this mission, but the shuttle will spawn but not always near the mission point i have picked it up well before reaching mission point several times, i also sent in a csr ticket and the response was to have a look at the forums!!

I beat this mission shortly after posting. Just shoot TIEs until the Lambda spawns. Usually took about 3
