Food on the ground can really help you out in sticky situations, but is there going to be food to help us out in space? Will there be better aiming foods...or better piloting skills (turning)? I'm not saying they should be in the game, I'm just wondering if there are, or will be. Personaly I wouldn't want foods.

Well since most of JTL will be twitch based (IE player skill) they seem to have pushed anything that may do those things out. We'll see I am sure but for the most part I want to see the good old hand eye coordination be the true test of valour and not who spent the best money on food, parts maybe but not some buff.

Right on
I just can't imagine them explaining how taking some food buff makes my lasers shoot straighter when I am the one aiming them or make my ship turn tighter when I pop some pill.

Eating real food will do you better justice for your space-simming/flying. Ever been hungry enough where your hands are shaky?
A well fed soldier/airman/marine/sailor is a happy, well performing one!

A light hand on the stick and a feel for your baby and the way she moves. It maybe twitch, but I'm betting I'm going to have some of my better Star Wars role play feely moments when in space ![]()

Personally I'm more worried about another DE revamp to make astromech droids do what they are supposed to do: fix ship rather than be a stupid mobile hospital.
I'm actually hoping JTL says as free from buffage as possible.

I'm starting to worry that JTL will kill the Chef Profession. Gawd, I hope I'm wrong.

That would only happen if all current combat characters suddenly migrate to only fight in space. And that's not going to happen, since you can't make much money up there compared to the ground game.
