Recommend specs
Intel P4 1.5 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+

*64 MB 3D Graphics card with Vertex Shader and Pixel Shader (VS/PS) Capability

Required: 633 MB of free hard drive space for installation and patches.

Yeah, but like the ground game, it runs better with the more RAM you have. In the early stages of Beta, a lot of people complained of lag. I never suffered any on my 1 gig machine or my 2 gig machine.

True, but there was alot of people in beta who got stuck at starports unable to load space at all when they only had 256MB, and it was to be realistic that 512MB is really the perfered minimum level. So using less is kinda one of those do so at your own risk things. But then again if you have 256MB, buying another 256MB is only going to be a touch more than the cost of the expansion anyhow, and definatly worth the price for the all round performance increase to the machine.

i have 256 mb of ram it run smooth in space for me nor i have any propblems.
